Kick is known for its 90/10 revenue split and lower payout thresholds, making it one of the most streamer-friendly platforms for monetization.
Who Can Monetize on Kick?
Kick makes it easy — no partnership or affiliate requirement to start earning.
You only need:
- A verified account (phone + email)
- A completed payout setup (via Stripe or bank)
Once your account is verified, you can begin accepting Subs, Tips, and more!
1. Subscriptions (The Main Monetization Method)
Kick allows viewers to subscribe to your channel for $5/ month.
- You receive 95% – Kick takes only 5%!
- That's $4.75 in your pocket for each sub.
Sub Perks You Can Offer:
- Custom emotes (upload in dashboard)
- Subscriber badges
- Ad-free viewing
- Exclusive Discord roles or content (optional)
Set up via your Kick Creator Dashboard > Channel Settings > Emotes & Badges.
2. Tips (Direct Donations)
Kick allows direct tipping via third-party tools:
- StreamElements (Tip Page)
- Botrix (Kick Chat Tips)
- Ko-fi or Buy Me a Coffee
To add a tip panel:
- Create an external tipping link (e.g., from StreamElements)
- Paste it in your Kick channel bio using the +Add Panel option
Tips are instant and have no platform fees (only processor fees, such as Stripe/PayPal).
3. Kick Creator Program (Coming Soon / Beta)
Kick has teased a Creator Program for monetizing based on:
- Hours watched
- Viewer engagement
- Stream frequency
This is still in beta, but we expect options similar to Twitch's Partner Plus or YouTube's Partner Program to be introduced in the future.
4. Sponsorships, Affiliates, and Merch
Kick allows total freedom — you're not locked into exclusive contracts.
Ways to monetize outside the platform:
- Partner with brands (e.g., GFuel, NordVPN, etc.)
- Promote affiliate links (Amazon, gaming gear, etc.)
- Sell merch via platforms like Fourthwall, Streamlabs Merch, or Spring
Add banners, panels, or nightbot commands to showcase your offers.
Payout System
Kick uses Stripe for fast and transparent payments.
- Minimum payout: $50
- Payout schedule: Daily, weekly, or monthly (customizable)
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Payouts to configure your account.
