StreamersTip Privacy Policy

The StreamersTip website (streamerstip.com) is available. The iOS app is coming soon. The Android app is coming soon. The Desktop app is in development. Together these are the "Platform." The same account, privacy choices, and legal terms apply across these surfaces as each one launches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have on the Platform.

We wrote it to be readable, but it still matters legally, so please review it carefully.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide when creating an account, customizing your profile, or interacting with our services. This may include:

• Full name and email address
• Username, profile photo, and bio information
• Social media links and content you upload or share
• Communication preferences and account settings

B. Automatically Collected Information

When you use StreamersTip, we automatically collect certain data to improve performance and user experience:

• Device type, operating system, and browser
• IP address and approximate location
• Usage data such as session duration, clicks, and page views
• Referring URLs and traffic sources
• Cookies and tracking technologies (for analytics and preferences)

C. Third-Party Data

If you link accounts (e.g., Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or TikTok), we may collect publicly available information or data you authorize from those platforms, including:

• Channel name, follower count, stream metrics, and profile details
• Engagement or performance analytics

D. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications on our mobile apps, we collect and store a device push token (for example, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token) linked to your account so we can deliver alerts about messages, follows, activity, and other in-app events. You can disable notifications in your device or in-app settings at any time.

E. AI Features (Tippy)

When you use Tippy AI (chat, captions, content plans, and related tools), we process the prompts and context you submit and the responses generated for you. This may include:

• Chat messages, captions, and planning prompts you send to Tippy
• AI-generated responses and tool outputs
• Saved conversation history in your account (until you delete it)
• Limited server-side audit logs (prompt and response excerpts) for safety, abuse prevention, billing, and compliance

You must accept Tippy's in-app consent before first use. You can delete saved Tippy chat history anytime in Privacy Settings. Tippy provides creative and growth suggestions — not legal, tax, medical, or financial advice.

F. Diagnostics, Analytics, and Performance

To keep the Platform reliable and improve features, we collect diagnostic and analytics data, including:

• Product interaction events (for example, video views, profile visits, tool usage, and Tippy questions asked)
• Crash reports and error logs (for example, via Firebase Crashlytics on mobile and error monitoring on the web)
• Performance metrics (for example, page load and playback health on the web)
• Website analytics via Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics, with privacy-oriented settings where available (such as IP anonymization on the web)

We do not use this data to sell your personal information or for cross-app advertising tracking. See our Cookie Policy for more detail on analytics technologies.

G. Purchases and Billing

If you subscribe or make in-app purchases, we receive transaction and entitlement information needed to activate features (such as Tippy credits or premium tools). Payment card details are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe — not stored directly by StreamersTip.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Platform
• Personalize your experience and recommend relevant content
• Enable community and networking features (comments, follows, messages, etc.)
• Send important updates, newsletters, and promotional messages
• Monitor platform integrity and prevent fraud or misuse
• Deliver push notifications you opt into
• Operate AI features (Tippy), enforce usage limits, and maintain audit records
• Diagnose crashes, measure performance, and improve reliability
• Process subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Comply with applicable legal, safety, and regulatory requirements

We may also anonymize or aggregate data for research, performance insights, or internal analytics.

3. Information Sharing

We respect your privacy — we do not sell your personal information. We only share information in the following cases:

• Service Providers: With trusted vendors who assist in operating our Platform (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery).
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
• With Your Consent: If you explicitly authorize sharing (e.g., displaying your profile publicly or connecting third-party apps).

All partners and service providers are contractually bound to maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards.

Key service providers and subprocessors include:

• Google / Firebase: authentication, database, storage, hosting, analytics, cloud messaging, and crash reporting
• Apple and Google: sign-in and mobile in-app purchase processing
• AI providers (for Tippy): Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google AI — to process prompts and generate responses on our behalf
• Stripe: web subscription and payment processing (where applicable)
• Error monitoring providers (for example, Sentry on the web, when enabled)
• Platform OAuth providers (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Kick, and others you connect)

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

Saved Tippy chat history is kept until you delete it in Privacy Settings or delete your account. Limited Tippy audit logs may be retained longer where needed for security, billing disputes, or legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized according to our retention schedule.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

StreamersTip uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in securely
• Remember your preferences
• Analyze site traffic and app performance
• Deliver relevant recommendations

You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may limit certain features.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

• Secure SSL/TLS encryption
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and authentication measures

However, no online platform is 100% secure. By using StreamersTip, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request account and data deletion ("Right to be Forgotten")
• Portability: Request data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Opt-Out: Manage communication preferences and unsubscribe from non-essential messages
• AI controls: Delete saved Tippy chat history in Privacy Settings; decline Tippy consent to avoid AI processing
• Push controls: Disable notifications in device or in-app settings

If you are located outside the United States, please note that your data may be transferred and processed in the U.S. or other regions where our servers or partners operate. We take steps to ensure your data receives adequate protection consistent with applicable laws.

9. Children's Privacy

StreamersTip is not directed toward individuals under the age of 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. All updates will be posted on this page with the revised "Last Updated" date.
