YouTube Live in 2026

YouTube keeps adding ways to run a live show with other people, more languages, and more ways fans can pay. Turn on what you will actually host.

Use the feature that matches the show you already run

Co-hosting and competitive live formats are useful when you already have someone to share the screen with. Auto dubbing and expanded watch-together styles matter if your audience is bigger than one language or you want a premiere feel. Fan funding tools matter after people care, not before the first stream.

Do not rebuild the channel around a feature you saw in a keynote. Read the Live control room, see what is offered to your channel, and test one thing on a stream you were going to do anyway.
