Metrics that actually matter

Pick the metric that matches the decision. Views tell you reach. Watch time and completion tell you if the video worked. Revenue tells you if the business did.

Evergreen

A short list you can actually use

Reach and impressions: did anyone have a chance to see it. Views: they started. Average view duration and completion: they stayed. CTR: the package earned the click. Saves, shares, and comments: they did something. Returning viewers and followers gained: they might come back. For live shows, average viewers, peak, and unique chatters.

Revenue per viewer, RPM, and CPM are money metrics. They are noisy and they are not a moral score. Look at them monthly, not every hour.
